no_country_set + 0dbi Gain = Max power possible?

As the subject states, does a Country settings of ‘no_country_set’ paired with an antenna gain setting of ‘0dbi’ mean that my radio will be pushing max power at all times? Does it make a difference if I keep the same country settings but change my antenna gain to 30dbi?

I’m trying to understand what these setting really translate to. My primary concern is the health of my radio. This setting mentioned above almost seems like a way of overclocking the radio.

Second question is, how do I found out the operating power level if my ‘TX Power Mode’ is set to ‘default’?

Country settings are taken in account only if You are running frequency-mode=regulatory-domain. Antenna gain is for reducing power if You are under regulatory domain to match country selection EIRP. no_country_set matches FCC compliant set of power outputs / channels. For maximum output power set frequency-mode to superchannel or manual-tx-power and adjust power under Tx Power tab (set tx-power mode to all-rates-fixed or, manual)
Keep in mind, that high power is not always better reception and may harm wireless chip. Do this at Your own risk.
