Please tell me, i set a hotspot server to run to limit torrent downloading from wireless users but i want them to take ip addresses from the dhcp server (my old modem-router) i already have,not from the mikrotik.(because i have many ip devices already running) Or atleast say the hotspot server to give ip addresses in the same ‘format’ (192.168.1.1 is the modem/router and the mikrotik could give 192.168.1.30->192.168.1.254)
or on the other hand how i could set one other ethernet port of the mikrotik to take ip addresses from the gateway (old modem) and not from the hotspot server ? Because i see that running a hotspot server on one port ie ‘master local port 2’ all other ethernet ports are ‘under’/ running the hotspot server
