No DHCP when wlan disabled

I’ve got a RB751U-2HnD up until now I’ve been using the wireless AP on that device, however I now wish to disable it, I disabled wlan1 in interfaces and when I do I no longer get DHCP from the device, it’s just the “out of the box” configuration. I just want to use it as router without wireless.

What am I doing wrong?

Go to IP>Addresses, then change the interface from ‘wlan1’ into ‘bridge-local’.
