How to prevent assigning DNS servers to PPP clients?
If DNS server not set in PPP profile the client get 2 DNS server addresses (Mikrotik IP address + first DNS address).
Dns server is necessary in the client so you can setup your dns server or a public dns like 8.8.8.8

That is an false assumption. Sometimes one does NOT want a DNS server.
Not every VPN connection is done to access the internet. And in that case sometimes you don’t want to change the DNS server of the primary connection, just route a special address set through that VPN.
Strangely, it works for me for ppp connections. If I don’t set a DNS server in the user profile, I don’t get a connection specific DNS.
Haven’t tried on l2tp.
Have you tried putting 0.0.0.0 in DNS server field?
