No free-HDD-space,and bad blocks in RB411

hello
I’m using RB411 as a hotspot in very old Version (5.0rc2)- , and now I can’t upgrade him because they don’t have HDD space.
I want to be able to to this using the DUDE.
I have something like 50 Router all over and I don’t want to go to each of them…
I know that I have too many bad blocks - maybe I config something wrong and because of it I have so many of them?

I’m attaching a pictures of my router

please have a look and try to help me,

Thanks,

The only way to recover this device, is to use Netinstall and reinstall RouterOS. It will also recover the bad block:

I see , this is my problem -
is it possible to do netinstall ,and not to be near the device - to do this from my office?

and 1 more question -
why do I get this bad blocks? - is there a way to know where they came from and fix it before I will need to do netinstall again?

thanks ,

can this question go to the tech of mikrotik?
what cause bad block -and how can I avoid it?

There was a bug in previous RouterOS version which could cause bad blocks to appear on certain model of NAND chip. It is fixed. You have to use Netinstall to reinstall to v5.18 (will be released shortly)

o.k.
Thank you !
I hope it will fix my problem…

p.s
do you know how soon?

I can give you pre-release version if you write to support

Thanks ,
I sent mail to support and they sent me.
but the sent only the “routeros-mipsbe-5.18.npk”
it there a way to get the rest of the packages? (LCD\Multicast\GPS)?

Thanks ,

this version is now on our webpage, all packages are here:
