Hello,
I’m a newbie with network monitoring tools, and after installing The Dude on my computer (3.6), my internet connection broke down and not working since then.
Local network connection is fine and i can access local server, but there is no internet connection at all. Even after uninstalling, removing Ethernet device and installing again, reseting computer and few other tricks.
What could be the problem and how can i enable internet access on my computer again?

I have never seen such behaviour. Most probably it is not even linked. You had to do something else. You need to follow the suggestions related to your operating system if you are sure that the reason is in your computer.
Yeah, and I’ve been googling for two hours now without any similar issue.
The problem is that my colleague installed the same version and the same thing happened to him, the difference is that my computer is a laptop with wi-fi (working), and he’s on desktop machine with no wi-fi connection.
Get somebody with networking background to debug this. “Internet not working” is very unspecific.
what does your Windows say to these commands?

Ok, now i can’t roll back that information because i’ve changed my IP and internet access was enabled immediately.
I’ll try the same with my colleagues machine.

That IP solution wasn’t so good, the problem came back minutes later. The problem is that I don’t have our IT expert because he left our company week ago and we are on our own for now.
I will find IT administrator for sure in the next few days and post that solution here if someone stumble upon same issue

Also, i forgot to mention that 10-15 minutes after The Dude was started, all the computers in the network started turning red, one by one.
