Hello all,
I implemented my 1st Mt config today wt rb951. I configured my wan static IP from isp on ether1 and lan on ether 2 as master,bridging lan IP and wireless via dhcp. After implementation,config worked after some minutes later there’s no more internet on my laptop lan but phones could connect.
2ndly I could not logging via my lan gateway ip,. Pls help out guys

Did you add a masquerade rule?
Did you add any filter rules to block access on port 8291?
Did you disable discovery? you should be able to plug your PC into any port and use winbox neighbours to discover the device.
Yes I added a masquerade role guess why I have internet connection on some wireless device(mainly phones)
I can’t remember adding any filter rule(I’m new to mikrotik,still understudying d device)
Same applies to discovery,didn’t know if its on disabled state. I can connect tru Mac address but not through IP.

I have sorted out this issue. There was a faulty switch attached to the router where other nodes were connected. When I moved the nodes to my routerboard and disconnected the switch. All my connections were fine. Thanks guys for viewing.
