Trying to install an RB915. Right now, I have it connected to the existing Linksys900 that the RB will replace. The address for the 900 is 192.168.6.1, and I left the default address for the RB as 192.168.88.1 and set up DHCP. I set the DNS server to 6.1 (8.8.4.4, also), as well as the gateway. I’m missing something because I can’t ping 6.1 and I have no Internet access. I thought I had followed the Initial Configuration guide well, but obviously not. Where can I start troubleshooting to get this resolved? Once I get it working, I’ll change the IP scheme of the RB and remove the 900, but because of equipment location, it’s easier to try and get a better handle of the configuration the way I am setting it up now.
Go to IP > DHCP Client and add rule to get internet from router
I don’t see where a new rule can be created in the DHCP client configuration. Can someone lend a hand? Thanks
