Trying to learn how IPv6 works, and as long as I stick with MT, it’s going pretty well.
I have a /64 and a /48 from the Tunnel Broker. I configured the /64 on my MT router:
/ipv6 address
add address=2001:470:7:beef::2 advertise=no interface=sit1
add address=2001:470:dead::1 interface=LAN
/ipv6 firewall filter
add action=add-src-to-address-list address-list=seen address-list-timeout=2d chain=\
forward in-interface=sit1 src-address-list=!seen
/ipv6 nd
set [ find default=yes ] advertise-dns=yes
/ipv6 route
add distance=1 dst-address=2000::/3 gateway=2001:470:7:beef::1
If I configure another MT (CHR) with an ipv6 address of 2001:470:dead::2 and set a route, I can get out on ipv6 with no trouble.
When it comes to windows, however, I’m not having as much luck. It worked for a couple hours, then stopped working. I wiresharked, and saw the router advertisement (not that it makes any sense to me yet), but for whatever reason, Windows will not keep the route installed.
Now, I realize this is likely a Windows issue, but I’m not having any luck searching for a solution (probably using the wrong key words). Here’s what my interface on Windows looks like:
