Behold, I bring you another mystery.
RouterOS 3.28 on an RB532A.
All seems well, an L2TP tunnel establishes itself but no traffic passing down it as the default route, although “add default route” is selected and there is no other default route. I can ping the other end of the tunnel successfully but pinging a default IP address results in a timeout and “no route to host” error.
The default route via the L2TP gateway appears in the routing table BUT NO INTERFACE IS ALLOCATED TO IT.
I’m baffled.
