I have the following setup.
Router: Mikrotik RB951Ui-2nD
RouterOS: 7.11.2
UPS: APC BACK-UPS XS 700U connected to USB
I would like to setup logging to send e-mail to a specific addres when there is a log entry with UPS topic.
What is working so far:
- e-mail: tested, working
- e-mail sending on specific log: e-mail is sent automatically when account related topic is logged
- UPS: package installed, connected, working and can get its status in winbox and status chaning as power changes (outage etc.)
Problem:
Even email/email action in logging is working and the rule made to send e-mail on ups topic it is not happening.
When I want to add ups topic to memory to check its log entries it is not working too.
- same situation with ddns topic
It seems to me that ups and ddns not making any log entry even there is a change.
What can be the problem?
