no ping to google but there is a l2tp connection

how could it be
I have a strange problem
my router doesn’t go to the internet (8.8.8.8 for example ) but there is a connection
because I get an address from my l2tp server
the ping trying is from the router itself using “New-terminal”
only masquerade in the firewall nat
how could it be?

Please could you post some information on your topology and configuration?

something very strange
I don’t have ping to 8.8.8.8 (time out )
but to 8.8.4.4 I do have replay

there is nothing on the router
after installation I just gave him an IP and put the right setting to the modem
I have done this twice just to be sure

what could it be?
