No ppp/lte1 and Port print details show "Flags: I" only

It’s almost as if the Modem is not even plugged in.

I don’t get any of this like I have in the past:

0 name=“usb1” used-by=“” device=“” channels=7 baud-rate=9600 data-bits=8 parity=none stop-bits=1 flow-control=none


There is no LTE1 interface, no ppp interface. Only ether1.


Steps I have taken:

1- Removed the modem, LM940
2- Insert the modem…
3- Removed, retaped the USB 3 (force USB 2) and insert back in.
4- reset configuration and rebooted.
5- downgraded.
6- upgraded to ROSv7.


It’s almost like there is no port USB2.0 anymore

I want to add, in “port lists” there is nothing. No listing at all.


I tried creating a ppp-out1. Nothing. The issue is the modem is in MBIM mode and I need it in ECM mode and I see no way to communicate with the modem without an interface.
