No reboot when APC UPS connected to RB1100

Hello,

I own a RB1100 running my SoHo network.
For power protection I use an APC Smart-UPS SC 450VA 230V.
The RB1100 and APC are connected with the serial cable as supplied by APC.

When I reboot (soft or hard) the router with the serial cable connected, the reboot process hangs.
If I reboot when the serial cable is disconnected, everything works normally.

I have not many reasons to reboot the router :smiley: but it is a bit anoying when doing a remote upgrade of the RouterOS :frowning:

Does anyone have the same problem and even better a solution for this?

go into the system routerboard configuration and change enter-setup-on from any-key to delete-key - that should fix your problem.

I will give it a try this evening when upgrading to 6.7.

The given solution did not solve the problem.
Reducing the baudrate to 2400 however did solve the problem.
