I am struggling with this issue for several days now.
We use firmware version 5.26, we have configured it to use aaa radius to authenticate and account on freeradius. We need a session-id at authentication for our software to work properly.
When configured as hotspot, it sends a session-id and a unique-session-id on the access-request packet and keeps using it for accounting till the end of the session.
But when using pppoE the session-id and unique-session-id attributes are missing on the Access-Request packet (I understand from the manual that they should be present) and only appear on the Start accounting packet.
We tried sending a session-id attribute on the access Reply packet but this id is ignored by the routerboard and it sends its own id on the Start accounting packet.
Any help on this issue is welcome, if more information is needed I will sent it gladly.
