Hi there today i have downgraded rb750g from routeros 5.6 to routeros 4.10. when i log into router using userman i see that under users there is no data.. Does this mean that all my info is gone and that i will need to set it up again or can i retrieve it somehow.

user manager in v5 is completely different than in older versions. this was to be expected. never downgrade a working configuration to some old version. why did you do that?

On one of my rb433’s I had an l2tp connection that unexpectedly reconnected every 30 minutes. This did not happen after downgrading back to 4.10. The connection has been up for 12 hours now.
I did remove the old userman backup and reconfigured it this morning.
Everything it back up and running.

PPS:Sorry about error in topic.It should be 5.6 and not 4.6
The plan did not work and l2tp stil reconnects every x minutes.so i am going to go back to ros 5.6. I did tried to finetune ospf and i am using ptmp. The connection have been stable for 2 hours now. I will check every hour.
Hi there seems that the problem was that the cost of ospf interfaces was equal. I changed the cost on link B to 20 and Link A to 10.
So far so good.
