Node Red on MIPSBE, possible?

Hi, the question involves lot of knowledge and experience, which I don’t have, I would know if somebody suceed with that. I’ve a HEX lite running 7.15.3, it has 23MB of RAM available and free USB for a dongle. Is it possible? May someone post step by step what is needed to do?
I’ve read some guides, but they are written with too many options, just for who already knows the matter, or forum comments probably too old for the actual OS release, maybe not useful.

If not possible with MIPSBE, I’ve an arm with 54MB of RAM free but wthout USB port (CAP XL) so I suppose it’s not possible to run there, anyway can you please post step by step the installation (only commands/explanations without pictures is enough, thank you!)

I’m not sure what you have in mind, running a container with NodeRed on a Mikrotik device? Containers can only run on arm, arm64, and x86_64 devices, so anything mips is out of question. And an external disk is a must for containers, otherwise you’ll kill your internal flash in weeks even if it is large enough for the container.

In the past, there was the metarouter functionality on some devices. It allowed to run an operating system of your choice in parallel to RouterOS on them, but it gradually stopped working and I’m not sure it ever has been implemented on mmips devices. Maybe that’s what you had in mind when mentioning “some guides”?

THanks for your answer,
yes I would discuss here any possibile way for running Node Red on a Mikrotik, if metaroute may give it, I would know more  I’ve searched andcan’t find it for OS7, is that abandoned?

About docker on mipsbe I’vefound this topic, but doesn’t report the way to obtain it:

Well, that is what is generally referred to as “wishful thinking”:
