Nokia Windows Phone not redirected to login.html

Hi

A user in possession of a Nokia Windows Phone (very recent model) can’t connect to our hotspot RB433UAH ROS 6.7

The hotspot doesn’t have any wireless interface, instead we have Engenius APs that redirect to the hotspot.

I can see that the phone obtained an IP address but she doesn’t get redirected to the (default) login.html page

I tried binding both on IP and MAC address, no luck

Added a DNS name (hotspot.info) no difference; also can’t browse to hotspot.info

Read something about reducing the default MTU (1500) on windows Phone, haven’t tried yet

Everyone else can connect, login browse, …

any ideas ?

Apparently the MAC COOKIE feature will help in these kind of situations

I have yet to test it however because the client has already left the hotel

what version of Nokia your user is using, some time old version may not be supported by the routers.
