non-magnetic metal used for mount bracket screws of CCR1016

I know this kind of complaint might sound exaggerated but it’s a real pain that the screws do not stick anymore to the screwdriver’s magnetic bit.
especially when you’re on the field and you don’t have replacement for the one you just dropped.

Considered steel is a standard, I suppose somebody consciously choosed to replace the standard steel screws with this exotic non-magnetic metal or alloy.
WTF !

Please Mikrotik, just use normal screws…

I will agree that it is a pain sometimes putting in small non-ferrous screws. I ended up using a Wera Kraftform screwdriver with the Lasertip as they seem to hold non magnetic screws well.

High quality stainless steel is non-magnetic.

Well, considered that theses equipments aren’t supposed to work in extreme moisture conditions, I think non-magnetic “high quality stainless steel” is an unnecessary flaw.
