Hi ya’ll, just found the dude and have some questions. First off, how do I get it to discover my entire network? I’m running a MT routeros 2.9.x and am using canopy access point and subscriber modules, but I can’t for the life of me figure out how to get the “discover” to map more than one ip at a time. I realize this may be very basic, but any help would be appreciated. Even if someone can just point me in the right direction.
Thanks
Mac

instructions to discover a network:
open some network map, click Tools button, then ‘Discover’. Device discovery dialog box opens. In this dialog box is a edit box called ‘Scan Networks’.
Type in network with mask ( for example 10.0.0.0/24 ). Click ‘Discover’ button.
More: you can discover multiple networks by adding more networks ( click black triangle beside edit box )
Even more: you can let The Dude discover additional adjacent networks
recursively by itself using information provided by SNMP agents: go to
‘Advanced’ tab of discover dialog and put some number in edit box called
‘Recursive Hops’.
Also there are some simple instructions in the Wikipage: http://wiki.mikrotik.com/wiki/MikroTik_Dude
hope that helps
That did it, my problem was the subnet. Once I got that figured out it worked and discovered EVERYTHING. The DUDE rocks.
