I have a few CAP AC devices that I have set up for a friend of mine. They didn’t have internet for a few months, so they unplugged all of the devices (a 3011 and 3x CAP AC devices set up as CAPSMAN-controlled CAPs). Upon turning them back on, the CAP AC devices did not connect to the CAPSMAN server, do not show up in Winbox as discoverable via IP or MAC address when connected to port 1 or port 2, and even though the device lights seem to “reset” when pressing the reset button while powering up, or by getting them into CAP discovery mode, nothing seems to help this lack of connectivity.
One thing I have noticed, the devices can get an IP address only when BOOTP is enabled, but there is still no IP or MAC winbox access through either port 1 or 2. I have also attempted to put one of the devices into netplan boot and have successfully sent the newest npk to it, including applying default config, but still have not had any luck getting them to work.
Any ideas?
