Not able to login to access points

Before using routeros I have used dd-wrt,pfsense. I have never had a problem loging into one of my access points before but ever since I begain using routeros I have not been able to. I have a wireless network with 3 outdoor ligowave ap’s. Each has its own ip and normally I would connect to the ap either through any network connection or a wireless link between my laptop and the ap. If i put in the ip address for any of them it goes nowhere. How do I fix this? I think I probably need to make some kind of change to the firewall to allow my laptop to access a internal ip and I have tried what I thought would work but so far nothing. I am very glad that I haven’t had a problem in the past month-lol.

network example

mikrotik lan gateway 192.168.1.1
ligowave ap-192.168.1.10
wireless link to laptop 192.168.1.20

I am connected directly (wireless of course) to the ap so I don’t understand why when I try to connect to address http://192.168.1.10 it will not bring up the login page for the ap.

Any ideas?

On the MT box, check in “/interface wireless” and see if “default-forwarding=yes”. If set to no, you will not be able to communicate with peer radios, including your aps.
