Not able to send bigger size email from outlook

Dear all.

I have configured a new RB450G and I like the way it works and I am really impressed , unfortunatly it comes with a littel problem which I can’t able solve it.

I have an exchange server in the Remote office and all users are using outlook to send and receive email , it works fine to send an email and receive but not with a big email has attachement .

Please if any one of you know how to solve this problem . I am really happy .

what does actually happen when you send big attachments? any errors?

It start to send but not completing the sending process after a while it disconnect , no error message and nothing on outlook .
for small file, no problem it works perfect.

what config do you have there? NAT, Bridge, Routing? Do you use Hotspot or PPPoE? Is the mail server in the same network, or somewhere far away? What is the ping time to the mailserver ?

Dear Normis,

I have configure the BR as NAT and routing , the mail server is on remote as I said before and ping rate 650 - 750 ms. Now I removed the BR and configure my routning and NAT on windows 2008 it works perfect .

this is quite a high ping time, are you sure there are no other problems with the network? and you don’t use any tunnels or pppoe?

I have a Visat link and it is a normal ping rate , this problem is happneing with the Mikrotik router.
