- have problems to conenct to an AP (D-Link DIR-655) with my station RB133(FW 4.0beta3) with R52H and/or WNC CM9 wi-fi cards(using 1antena) when the AP is working in mixed mode B/G/N. Altho I can see the AP, I can not connect.
- I can easily connect with my laptop working in B/G mode so there is not a problem because of unsupported Ndraft on the R52H or CM9 cards.
- when I switch the AP to mixed mode B/G then I can also connect with the R52H or CM9 cards on my RB133 without any problems.
- the thing is because when the AP is working in the mixed mode B/G/N the signal is much better than when working just in B/G and therefore i would like to leave it in B/G/N and also because of other devices(laptops) that are accessing the AP in N-draft.
- I would like to know if anyone has any idea why it shouldn’t be possible to conenct to the D-Link DIR655 AP when it is working in mixed mode B/G/N with the mikrotik HW?
- also if anyone could tell me if I am going to buy a N-draft capable card for my RB133 like the R2N or R52N, do you know if that will be compatible with the D-Link radios and working fine? does anyone has experience with this?
thanks for an answert ![]()
