this Command is to reset a counter called notifyCount in layer 7 protocol
$persistVar notifyCount 0;
It Works fine from terminal and resets the counter.
But when put it inside script and run that script it is not working ( do not reset the counter ) and did not give any error
Please help
What is “$persistVar” ? You show line line extractef from whole script and expect us to mysteriously know what it is.

It is so simple but not working
