Sorry to say that i have tried all the possibilities but success is yet to come. Please kindly help me with your experience?
Here is my problem:::
Using the pppoe credentials from my ISP, i configured them on the WAN NIC. When i run pppoe-client monitor, it indicates it is connected.
I equally enabled /ip dhcp-clent on the WAN NIC and when i take >print detail, it gives me the details like the IP, gateway, dns1, dns2 etc of the provider. i am able to ping the ip, the gateway but NOT dns1 or 2.
i have also masquerade my LAN which is 192.168.1.1/24 and dhcp
Using /ip firewall filter, i have also configured firewall to protect the router.
i have even set /ip dns set allow-remote-requests=yes
All things being equal, it is supposed to be browsing but disturbingly, it is NOT. Can anyone gives me more advice like Mr. MRU did please?
I am currently using the service on Windows. When i configure the service in MT, you can monitor withing MT, that it is connected to the provider. Within MT, you can only ping upto the level of the provider and not beyong. At the level of the clients(windows), you can ping the gateway that the dhcp-WAN NIC picks from the provider. The problem is that webpages do not open. i have modified the complaint again. Please just be patient to go through again.
"Thank you once more Mr. MRU.
