+1
Very need this product
I’d also like to see a larger POE switch (with option to rack mount) and RouterOS (vs SwitchOS). So far we have the PowerBox which isn’t Gigabit and the 260GSP which only has 5 ports.
but we will not see any devices like this!
And I still waiting for RB3011…
+1 Omnitik AC with 5 gigabit interfaces are welcome!
Ubiquiti has a 48 port 750W switch… I just MUCH prefer MikroTik… If MikroTik produced something like that even… 12, 24, or 48 port it would be awesome.

I also think they could have done better, but you do realize that most if not all Mikrotik products use Atheros based radio’s, as does Ubiquiti, but that the first generation of Ubiquiti AC in the UAP-AC (UniFi indoor) was a broadcom product, something Mikrotik does not use (because of all the features the products are expected to have and driver support from Atheros vs Broadcom).
The Ubiquiti product, although working perfectly in my experience, also was not able to deliver all the features Ubiquiti had promised initialize mainly because of the support Broadcom offered for their chips.
So is Mikrotik late, yes, a bit (Atheros has had chips for a while now), but they made a choice to skip the “broadcom” generation of AC as all the first products of all major brands where to maintain product quality and feature set. There is something to be said for that.
Sadly, for me, that also means that all my in house deployments have become Ubiquiti.
