I have notification setup and when I had an entire site go down the email notifications that were sent out for each device said they where up instead of down. Is this a bug or do I have something setup incorrectly, or reversed?
I guess no one has experienced this. I haven’t received any postings.
I suppose what I have going on is that I am not getting any alerts when things go down but I do get alerts when they go back up. I’ll be checking this out.
I figured it out.
When I setup my email account to notify me I didn’t choose the “On state” option “unstable → down”. Once I did I started receiving notifications when devices went down. Must be they transition from UP to Unstable to Down.
