I’ve set up some notifications on Dude 1.2, both email and ‘execute on server’ types. I’ve found that many of them only generate a notification on up, not down. Has anyone else found this?
Ive found a way to setup it. In each notification, there is a schedule setting and a advanced settings available which what you mentioned is possible to validate a rule for every device status transitions. i.e: down->up, unstable->down, unknown->up, up->unstable, acked… But dont know if there are different “default settings” that could not say anything when a device is going “down” for some specific notification, but I think the default is: down->up, up->down and unstable->down. So, if your device is going from “unknown” to “down” and there are no settings, then nothing to do with.
