Novatel USB727 Verizon not being recognized

I have a RB433AHU with a Verizon Novatel USB727 that is shown and I can do ati commands to it but no matter what channel I use for data/info, all I get are:
status: “unknown”
pin-status: “ERROR”
functionality: “unknown”
gprs-mode: “”
manufacturer: “unknown”
model: “unknown”
revision: “unknown”
serial-number: “unknown”
current-operator: “”
signal-strengh: 192

This is in 3.30 or 4.2. Wiki says the card is supported as of 3.13 I believe. ATI responds fine though. Would I need a correct init string to do the info 0 prompt?

[admin@MikroTik] /interface ppp-client> /system serial-terminal usb2 channel=0

[Ctrl-A is the prefix key]

I believe i have the correct channel (data-channel 0 and info-channel 0) as ATI does not respond on any other channel nor does info. I’ve tried to scan on all channels and never see anything. The card does work fine in Windows though.

The issue is that you must use it as a serial/ppp connection. Set up a PPP Client with the interface being usb0, set phone number to #777, and for username and password leave them blank. On my 720 I would set the username and password to web and it worked like that too. I forgot why I did that even.

I haven’t used the 727, but the 720 did work fine, and the 727 was supposed to work all the same.

I made a mistake. usb2 is the interface for you.

I have tried this but no luck. Uldis is telling me it won’t work as it won’t respond to certain AT commands. I’ve asked for it to be pulled from the Wiki is being supported.

Thanks for your help though.
