Nstreme-dual low throughput

System setup:
2 X RB532 over clocked to 330 MHz (For testing phase)
4 X R52 Atheros mini-pci’s
4 X 18dB Antenna. (Hor and Vert polarized antennas paired correctly)
Framer Policy: Exact
Mode: Nstreme Dual Slave on all cards.
Ver 2.9.30 upgraded to 2.9.38 (same speed)

Received Signal is -50 dB (Link between two buildings)
Transmit on 5130 5GHz Turbo
Receive on 5330 5GHz Turbo
RX/TX Rate: 54Mbps

Tried channels further apart as well.

Bridging eth1 to nstreme1 on both units.

Maximum Throughput: ~20MBps TX or RX
CPU Utilization ~ 72%

Shouldn’t this be higher?

I don’t think so, but I could be wrong!
I think there is some kind of bus limit when you use two cards on a RB. And also Nstreme is very CPU hungry.
You may need to look at a PC based system.
I would point you to some good hardware but I think the link will get deleted.

Definitely - RB532 can’t handle N-stream - It struggles with a single N-stream link, never mind dual…

Check your CPU usage when you test - I’ll bet it’s 100%

CPU Utilization runs @ 50 -68 % peaks at 72%.
Seems like there is still some spare cycles.
I do however agree that the rb532 might not be fully capeable of nstreme 2
