Nstreme dual or 2x Mimo for 42km link

Hi Guys

I’ve heard that MIMO does not work so well over long distance. I have a very stable 8km MIMO link, 10mbps Full duplex, which I am very happy with

But for a 42km link, should I rather use nstreme dual instead of a 2X mimo setup? I would preffere to use MIMO as I would only need 20mhz spectrum instead of 40mhz for nstreme dual

thanks

Then use NSTREME DUAL with 10 Mhz channels ; )

the EIRP will be much if u use 2 cards than only a MIMO cards, but in terms of bandwith I guess u can get more with mimo

I think the power is the same..

1 antena with 1W is the same that 8 antena with 1W each. The power is 1W.

im talking about 2 cards with nstreme dual instend 1 mimo card,

nstreme dual, because it’s much more stable than current n implementation, and you WILL get more bandwidth from that link than from an equivalent MIMO link. Of course you can use 10Mhz channels.
If you manage to obtain a -50 signal level with nstreme, provided you use rb433ah, rb600 or rb800 - for cpu power - you can get close to 80mbit full duplex in a turbo setup.
