Nstreme on backhaul; is it a good idea?

I am looking to replace some old legacy wifi equipment with MT boxes. I am currently using Routerboard 532’s running 2.9.10 with SR5 cards. I was wondering if I’ll experience better performance on the backhaul link with Nstreme (not nstreme2). I guess I was wondering what everyone recomends. Nstreme seems to give some nice enhancements. I would be happy with throughput in the 15mb range. Are you guys running nstreme on your backhaul links? I’m assuming also that polling adds unneccesary overhead to nstreme on Point-to-point links.

Hi, with Nstreme you will get better results, but your link must have good signal, the max the rb can push is 18M aprox depends on each particular escenario

It’s a great idea to use Nstreme on backhauls, our 600MHz x86 outdoor platforms push 60Mbps+ using Nstreme
