Installed Ntop, enabled netflow data collection (UDP port 2055)…
Running MT v3.30
Seeing a bunch of these in the messages file:
Mar 2 09:57:43 radius ntop[15251]: WARNING Template len mismatch [tot_len=45][flow_len=52]
Mar 2 09:58:12 radius last message repeated 3 times
Mar 2 09:58:16 radius ntop[15251]: WARNING Template len mismatch [tot_len=619][flow_len=636]
Searched the forum. Threads seemed to die out last May?
Has this been fixed? Does anyone have more info?

what NetFlow version? v5 was fixed in early ROS v4.x, AFAIR
Um, v3.30? Is the netflow version different than the ROS? How can I determine if different?
ROS can export in three NetFlow formats: v1, v5 and v9 =) which one do you use?

Should I be using 5 instead?
I configured my routers to send version 5 netflows and the error messages have stopped.
there should be another warning, about sequence id =) it was fixed in v4.x (somewhere around v4.6, I believe)
yes, if you need ipv4, for now it’s better to use NFv5. when I’ll have time, I’ll study v9 output - there still were probably some ‘features’. but the good news is that NFv9 has an RFC, so it will be easier to proove that something is wrong with ROS =)
trafic flow verstion 9 does it work
could some one help me add main mikrotik server to ntop as it seems right but not all info comes up

as i dont seem to get all ip info from it im running at 5 meg of data but not dont show it
this is all the traffic from mikrotik but on ntop i get no ip info or usage
afair, somebody posted that NFv9 sends zero packet count - seems like you see it in ‘Discarded Packets’

for NFv5 you have rejects with ‘zero packets’ reason?.. that’s strange… I just checked one of my routers (v5.0) - NFv5 data seems correct
