NTP server package installation on CRS328-24P-4S+RM

Hello,

I recently upgraded form a CRS125-24G-1S-RM to a CRS328-24P-4S+RM. When I started preparing the CRS328-24P-4S+RM , I attempted to load / install the NTP package "ntp-6.45.7-mipsbe.npk". After copying the .npk file into the File list in Winbox and rebooting the router, the .npk file disappears as it would but there is no NTP server feature available. Maybe the CRS328 does not support NTP server, but I cannot find any other discussions about this or similar issues.

The router details

Thank you

Jens

CRS328 is ARM architecture , not MIPSBE.

Can you please elaborate what that means for not having NTP server feature enabled. I’m not familiar with the differences of ARM vs MIPSBE. Thank you

You need to upload the package for correct architecture, that is “ntp-6.45.7-arm.npk”.

Thanks for the help, I had missed that the different chip architectures had separate packages. It works now.
