I migrated from a Debian server firewall/router to a mikrotik. But now I have very often (usually at least one per hour) diconnects and before this I had no disconnects at all (online from 8am to 8pm).
Log error message is: “: terminating… - peer is not responding”
Internet connection on both machines all the time. Perhaps RouterOS is more restrictive on how fast a peer is seen as not responding. Can I adjust these vaules somehow?

Hello,
In ppp interface pptp server you will notice keepalive timeout. And in ppp profiles select profile and then select limits and you will see session timeout and idle timeout. Play with these and see if it resolves your issue.
