nv2 adds 4-6ms latency?

I have a small network with rb532A and 5 clients.
All ROSv5.1 + upgraded firmwares.
Client distances from 40 mtr to 120mtrs.

Run a ping (www.multiping.com, great tools) on each client every 1 sec and make graphs.
In 802.11 mode average ping time (idle links) to each client is 10-14ms (done 8 hops and 5 wireless links remote).
When I switch to nv2 mode all ping times are now 12-19ms (so 2ms higher and more unstable).

TDMA period size is set to 1 and Cell radius to 10 km (min)

802.11 is without security
nv2 is with security enabled

Any explanation/input on this extra latency?

I saw the same behaviour on idle links..
I suppose that TDMA has an internal queue for time slots, which are calculated by the load of the client: If the client is doing some kind of traffic, TDMA will allocate more time than an idle client which has only beacon packets traffic. Try to put a small load (500kbps?) and retry the tests
