I had this scenario:
sxt-lite5-klient(1)----wireless—wlan1-sxt-sar2-ap(2)-ether1----ethernet—rb2011(3)
in sar2 ap(2) there was bridge between interface ether1 and wlan1.
throughoutput between 1 and 2 was 80mbit/s (1tcp)
throughoutput between 1 and 3 was 28mbit/s (1tcp)
after disabling bridge in ap2 and routing everything…this issue was solved…
now throughoutput between 1 and 3 is 80mbit/s…
please post your configuration on your SXT boards as I am unable to reproduce your problem.
What is the distance for your wireless link?
Is the SXT-SA (2) linked with the RB2011 with gigabit link or 100mbps?
What speed do you get when you use UDP bandwidth test?
This is another ap, I send you all configs screens.
The client is sextant(1) in routed mod(wireless station bridge)—wireless 2km—ap(rb33ah + rocket ubnt big sector antenna)(ethernet + wlan card are in bridge)(2)–ethernet 100mbit/s–rb2011(3)
If I do bttest 1 or 20 tcp from sextant(1)…to rb912(2) the download speed is 50mbit/s. UDP: 70mbit/s
If I do bttest 1 or 20 tcp from sextant(1)..to 2011(3) speed is from 8 to 16mbit/s. Udp 70mbit/s.
This info about throughput degradation via AP in bridge mode is very important.
We also noticed, that throughput via bridge (AP in ap-bridge mode) never reaches 25Mbit/s, although we have several customer connected to the same AP, consuming constantly 10mbit/s traffic.
Maybe Mtik support staff could comment somehow this situation?
Coz comparing Mtik to competetitor U, Their (U) products works without any issues
I would suggest to try out to make a new queue type with type pfifo and packet size 1000. Then apply that queue type to all the interfaces in the link and also on the ethernet interfaces and check the results.
this problem is caused with Simple queues, when they are disabled througoutput is ok. I use default queue type, what queue type you recommend to use in Simple queues?
That pfifo with packet size you mean to use on all interfaces: ethernet, wlan?
