NV2 key length - can/does it have an effect on max throughput

Question - can/does the length of the NV2 key (number of characters in the NV2 key) have any effect on the maximum total peak throughput ?

Example:
NV2 key = 123
verses
NV2 key = 10923543501847349820183847473891984732910384897491234774921345453281783

2nd question; Can the length of the NV2 key also have an effect on the CPU load ?
