NV2- Nstreme Interference?

Hi

Ive got an Tower on a mountain, where Ive got 2 links One is 60Km Using NV2

The other link is 28Km Using Nstreme

As soon as The second link is Nstreme - My RX Quality of the 60Km Link drops from 99 to 49 Instantly, and throuhput Halves. When I Disable the Nstreme on the second link, the throughput Jumps back up, and the link is perfect..

I am using Ubiquity Dishes On all my links, with Dual Chains

Both Links are on 1 RB433uah Using Mikrotik R52Hn. Why is this interference?

Should I Put the second link on its own RB?

Please Help

Hi there,

how close are the nstreme and NV2 channels?

From the wiki page for NV2:

As Nv2 does not use CSMA technology it may disturb any other network in the same channel. In the same way other networks may disturb Nv2 network, because every other signal is considered noise.

Perhaps you should look at the frequency separation of your nstreme and NV2 channels.

D2.

Ok I checked

NV2 is on 5180

Nstreme is on 5580

That is far apart, and still does it? Will it be better if I Build the Nstreme link on another RB next to the 1 that is up there?

In the same tower you need at least 2 or more meters of vertical distance between the dishes… and how say here, more than 200Mhz of channel separation.

Regards,

Try separate RB
