Nv2 or nstream - better for video ?

Can anybody say which protocol is better for videos, youtube etc.
Is there differences?
I use nv2 for p2p links and for p2mp.
I wanna know if changing links from nv2 to nstream I can expect enhances in video traffic?

I generally get better bandwidth with NV2, but I’d get the occasional dropped packet.
TCP just retransmits, UDP is just gone.
6.20 I didn’t have that problem, 6.27 does and I’m a bit hesitant to upgrade this particular link at the moment.

Hi,
i use nv2 for video or voice because re-transmitting the packet may cause interfering and delay on your video or voice , packet loss is common on nv2

So you suggest to stay on nv2 for p2p link.
I tried ac but it takes a lot of freq. chanel width so I stayed on N

Results are different in various environment , just test it , but in most cases nv2 works better for video/voice packets

As per my experience nstreme performs much better for us in many ways as :

  1. AP’s mostly BaseBox5 are now having more than 30 clients and all are working well. In nv2 AP’s having 25+ clients had very poor response even logging in to cpe was getting impossible.
  2. Latency has come down a lot in PTMP under nstreme.
  3. Now users can stream youtube’s continuosly without buffer in full HD.

Nstreme has to be tweaked for this. Somehow default configs doesnot works as desired.
