NV2 PTP wireless connected .. no traffic problem

am facing this problem more often,
PTP link between two SEXTANT .. distance is 500m and signal is very good. using NV2 am able to achieve more than 50Mbps throughput.. but every day or two i have ping time out and no traffic between those points.
wireless is connected and everything seems perfect.. all i do is login to any of the points and go to wireless → registration, then delete the registered point, wait few seconds so that it reconnects and everything is working back perfectly.

anyone is facing the same problem ??
any suggestions ???

i have simmilar problem with some RB711 (thera are in sextants) Only thing i can suggest is try a different one. One of them will be bad.

I have also had this problem on a pair of SXT’s and with all clients (about 15) on an OmniTik. I did the same thing you did with forcing the remote side to re-register - data starts moving after that. This happens very random from twice per day to once every two months. I am using NV2 and version 5.22 currently. I have tried everything from 5.14 to 5.22 with the issue still happening.

I have not tried nstream as I like NV2 better.

Yes, this is the same problem. But mikrotik support silent :frowning:

It is reported to support with ticket, but no response

MikroTik Support suggested 5.23 update after long waited opened ticket .
have installed the new version and after 6 hours again i had the same issue.
i have added wireless in logging now, i have noticed that one of the chains are getting very low signal -3 rx signal strength at AP Wireless Registration.
hoping support could help us in this issue.

problem looks to be solved..
Thanks to Mikrotik Support ( Uldis ) . he logged in to the devices test and found some issue.
prepared the fix and updated to the fix version, now everything looks good.
today v5.23 released including NV2 wireless fix. :slight_smile:
