NV2 QOS?

Anyone know when using NV2 QOS settings if you have to change the client to the same settings as the AP? Also does the WMM setting do anything when you are running NV2?

You need to change the QOS only on the AP as AP will tell the clients what they should use.
This link might help you about which features are supported in which wireless protocol:

Uldis,

Thanks for the quick answer.

Is there an easy way to tell if your traffic is getting tagged correctly with DSCP? For example is there a way to Monitor traffic with a DSCP tag of say 6 with torch or anything else?

Thanks,
Chadd

On the client device you can monitor you dscp with a firewall mangle rule

Another question, wouldn’t you also need to set DSCP from data leaving the wireless client that is headed to the AP to get symmetrical QOS?

yes, you need to setup mangle rules on both: AP and Client.

Hi Uldis, for a better flow of nv2 wireless traffic, you recommend to activate the ConnTrack and do the DSCP marks to implement QoS over Wireless or is more recommended to stay all at pure wireless w/o conntrack and qos?

I hope you understand me!

Thanks and regards!

we recommend you to leave as it is by default.
You can leave the Connection tracking enabled if your CPU is not sitting on the 100% when pushing wireless traffic.

So do not recommend QoS marked in mangle? that would by default?
