NV2 use on non-Mikrotik devices

I work on a network that uses Mikrotik devices exclusively. NV2 is used for all wireless APs and point-to-point links. The extra performance of NV2 is important to the network.

PROBLEM: My laptop cannot connect to wireless devices running NV2, and I am forced to take along a Mikrotik device to make that connection.

QUESTION 1: Is there a device driver available that would allow my laptop to connect directly to an NV2 link? I am running Windows 10, but my question is OS neutral.
QUESTION 2: Is there a USB plug-in wireless adapter available that supports NV2 connections?

If the answer to either of the above questions is no, why not?

Thank you.

No, NV2 is Mikrotik proprietary protocol.

it is made for p2p/p2mp.

NV2 is proprietary to Mikrotik, so you can’t use any other hardware.
But you can use mAP that’s USB powered as network adapter (power it from USB port, connect to LAN) .That will work if your network is on 2.4GHz… if you need 5GHz, then dual-band hAP will do the job.
