Here’s the setup:
RB532 CPE->RB532 AP->->RB532 AP->RB511 CPE->Via 933MHz->PC
|
Via 1GHz
All Routerboards and Via boxes running 2.9.24 or .25.
All CPE are running as “Station WDS” and NStreme on the APs. Polling is running on the AP on the left, the one of the right is acting as a backhaul with a single client associated. The Via 1GHz box is connected to the same switch at the RB532 APs.
Running a bandwidth test sending 5 Mbps/2 Mbps from the PC to the Via 1GHz box works flawlessly. (-50dBm signal both sides) Running a test from the Via 1GHz to the RB532 CPE works fine. (-77 signal both sides) However, running a test from the PC to the RB532 CPE only shows 2Mbps/1.5Mbps. Everything is bridged all the way through, no routing at all.
What’s happening between the APs that’s slowing down the connection? Any ideas?
