OLD Smartbridges with RouterOS

Hi all!

somebody knows if it’s possible to connect one RouterOS with an Smartbridges Air Pro Total? I have an old costumer who has a lot of smartbridges and I have to upgrade some nodes with RouterOS equipement based. I need to work with station/client and Ap bridge to try to make a mixed WLAN.

IM setting up some CPE units 15 to be exact and they are Smartbridge Airbridge 2100’s And they work fine., Hope that helps -Jordan

Hi,

my problem is with AirPoint Pro totals.. I think there is no problem with airbridges, but yes with pro total :’ (

Hi,

It is possible to make the airpoint series work with RouterOS. The airPoints use WDS to talk to each other the only way to get them to talk to Mikrotik is to spoof the mac address on the AP to a smartBridges one. And turn on wds on the AP, it should work we have a few on our network running like this.
