old WEB PROXY has better performance than new IP PROXY

hi..

i am using both web-proxy on MT V 2.9.50 and V 3rc13..

but for caching, i feel web-proxy which is the older, has better performance..
the new ip proxy, i didn’t feel that it perform as fast as web-proxy.. sometime ip proxy doesn’t do any caching..

as to my last thread, which i installed V 3rc13 on the rig, that MT hasn’t support the driver yet, i’ve changed the hardware.. and MT recognize all the hw..

does the other feel the same thing?

upgread to rc14, and mine is working very good.

Your best bet is to use an outside linux box running squid. We had way to many problems when using the Mikrotik cache. Sure would be nice if Mikrotik supported WCCP though. Would make it easier to use an outside cache. Cisco and Imagestream support WCCP. Right now we just NAT port 80 connections to squid.
