Did I just realize that the ether2 of the new WapAC is not passive poe out from the power coming from poe1…
Is that for real?
Or I am missing to enable something!
If that is the case I must say that I am pretty disappointed!!!

Yes, that is what it is. Really sad…
Especially as cAP ac does have poe out.
Indeed that was my intention and I didn’t check and as a matter of fact I have bought and installed 30 of them in a customer
Where is PoE out?

Your fault.
If you work and are payed from someone to do a work, you must have the full knowledge of the product before accept the works.
You open this topic for blame yourself?
Dude, I didn't blame Mikrotik for buying something that I "assumed" that it was there.
I said I am disappointed that it doesn't and I said ... I had the intention... I didn't say Mikrotik had the intention to fool me.
BUT the fact that it doesn't support this feature like for example the CapAC does and it is handy ... it is disappointing!
I think that I am very clear and that fact won't change my love for Mikrotiks but but but still it would be expected to be there else there is not SO MUCH point being there. It might become very handy but not as much as if it would power something too
From my point of view of (Switch) PoE power device, device power another device, and the other device can power again other device etc, is only a big mess.
The 2nd ethernet on wAP must be the “end” termial on the room, is intended to be plugged on “local switch” or directly on TV or Boxset, room phone, etc.
I would like to put an AP and LHG LTE on a mast, with just one cable. Does not work as cAP ac is not weather proof, wAP ac is missing poe out.
That being said… Anybody knows a small weather proof case that fits a cAP ac board?

The external square case is 5.7in x 5.7in x 1.2in (145mm x 145mm x 30mm).
Assuming the board is a lot smaller, as the round case is 136mm (5.4in) in diameter.
What about something like this (5x4x2in - first hit from google search): https://www.data-alliance.net/enclosure-outdoor-network-poe-telco-2-ports-dimensions-inside-5-x-4-x-2-inch/ …really depending on the inner dimensions of the PCB, though.

And directly a “wAP LTE kit” not???
Has Wi-Fi and LTE
Or directly one “SXT LTE kit” wit PoE out on 2nd ethernet?
For connect and power one mANTbox 2?

Or one mANTbox 52?

But I want LHG for its LTE antenna gain…
Well, this becomes off-topic - let’s stop here.

This is more constructive than the wole topic…
One topic to say “I not test the hardware before sell it to my clients”
