omnitek

good day
I have a problem in omnitek 5G which is its ssid not appear in air and my cleint device cannt catch it …I do every thing like upgrading , wire change , resetting and exchange the onmitek device by another new one but no way to solve this problem.

Post your configuration.

/export hide-sensitive file=whatever.rsc

Also check this:

Omnitik uses “outdoor” frequencies only no “indoor” frequencies. What that is depends on the region/country filled in in the Omnitik with “regulatory domain”
(“/interface wireless info country-info” shows the frequencies)

For europe “outdoor” is from 5500MHz upward (channel 100 and up). Some client devices only support from 5180- till 5320 MHz (typical indoor frequencies)

What’s more, many higher than 5240 MHz frequencies are DFS frequencies. This means that the AP must listen for 60 seconds before transmitting and becoming visible.
For the weather radar frequencies (5600-5700 MHz) this listen time is 10 minutes (!).
Any modification or setting of the interface will trigger the listen period

OK confused with the newer Omnitik 5 AC. Is it Omnitik 5 or 5AC? International or USA model?
But the output from the terminal “/export hide-sensitive” command would tell more than the screenshot

Screenshot tells me some things:

Maybe just stick to “regulatory domain”, fill in country and proper antenna gain.

superchannel - Conformance Testing Mode. Allow all channels supported by the card.
List of available channels for each band can be seen in /interface wireless info allowed-channels. This mode allows you to test wireless channels outside the default scan-list and/or regulatory domain. This mode should only be used in controlled environments, or if you have a special permission to use it in your region
