OmniTik both client and AP mode

Hello everyone,

I heard that OmniTik can be configured to act both as client and AP. I would like to know how this can be done?

WDS is the mode that you are looking for. It only works with a 100% MikroTik setup.

I was thinking about WDS, but I wasn’t sure.

I have static mesh between two omnitiks at 400m. Link speed varies 180-270 mbit (802.11n/ht), real throughput is around 40 mbit. What is your distance?

I will try to run it on 1.5km. I have dual polarized Ubiquity sector 19dB antena and R52Hn card on hill. I hope it will be strong enough for 15-20Mbps link and up to 10 customers.

Omnitik can’t not working stabile on 1.5 Km distance.
A main from omnitik to omnitik.
SXT is a option

Use two sxts in bridge instead. Omnitiks could be a problem if regulated correctly at this distance.
